Orlando Bloom Portrait

So this took about half a year to finish, and it was for 's birthday. I can't believe how long it took me, but my birthday art usually does. >_<

Fortunately this time around I learned from my mistakes and took my time and was METICULOUS, did NOT want to mess up this gorgeous man's face more than I have.

For those of you who don't know, Orlando Bloom is an actor most known in geekdom as Legolas in Lord of the Rings........he sure is pretty

My favorite part and first part to draw were his eyes, they seemed to just pop out of the paper hahahha. I had to crop the reference picture because the face seems more important to me than his hair, which would be gross graphite anyway (i can't shade hair well). I drew this in 2B and HB graphite pencil.....used tortillons and q-tips X)

This is my first birthday art to be up here, and probably my last. I wish I could've gotten the others up here, but oh well they had to go to their recipients, and I didn't want to give the gift later than I already was (I've drawn Arthur Rubinstein, Michael Buble, Johnny Depp, A messed up Hugh Jackman, and Christian Bale)
